Experienced, compassionate support for women navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or low self-esteem
In-person therapy in Oakland and online care across California
Holistic Psychotherapy Informed by
Science and Experience
I work with women across Oakland, San Francisco, and Berkeley of all ages and backgrounds who are ready for growth, healing, and meaningful change.
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling:
✔ Behind, like they’ve missed a step somewhere
✔ Caught in patterns they can’t seem to break
✔ Torn between ambition and deep connection
✔ Invisible in systems that fail to see their full humanity
✔ Judged by a digital world that doesn’t reflect who they truly are
✔ Drained and ready for something more sustainable
✔ Disconnected in family, friendships, or romantic relationships
If these challenges are keeping you from peace or clarity, you’re in the right place. Here, therapy is grounded in experience, guided by evidence, and tailored to support the whole of who you are.

Psychotherapist · Educator · Clinical Supervisor
Welcome. I’m Cynthia Dimon, LCSW (licensed clinical social worker), born and raised in Oakland.
I’m a psychotherapist with over a decade of experience helping clients move through anxiety, depression, OCD, perfectionism, and trauma recovery.
My clients are active participants in their therapy and ready for change. They come seeking an active shift in their daily lives, and leave with tools that support them long after therapy ends.
Evidence-based Results
progress towards real change
Person 1 began with severe anxiety. After working together, symptoms dropped to the mild, almost subclinical range.
Person 2 started with moderate anxiety and is now in the mild range, very close to subclinical.
Person 3 moved from moderate anxiety into the mild range, showing steady, meaningful improvement.
This is real data from women I’ve worked with showing the midpoints of our work in therapy. Compassionate evidence-based therapy, paired with practical strategies, can lead to lasting and measurable change.
Clients who consistently practiced tools between sessions experienced faster, more significant relief.
