Groups Designed for Growth
For more than 15 years, I’ve facilitated groups in Berkeley, Oakland, and San Francisco, bringing together women who want to learn practical tools, build meaningful connections, and create lasting change.
These groups are thoughtfully designed for women who want to grow in a space that centers their experiences and voices. Each group combines evidence-based strategies with the power of community, so you can feel supported while practicing real skills that extend into daily life.
My groups may be a good fit if you’re looking for:
Practical strategies to manage anxiety, mood, and self-esteem
Communication skills that strengthen relationships
Tools for setting and maintaining healthy boundaries, even with loved ones
What to Expect in Groups
Expert Facilitation
I bring experience and advanced training in CBT, DBT, somatic interventions, and mindfulness to every group.
Small Size, Big Impact
Groups are intentionally kept small so I can provide each participant with personal attention and meaningful feedback.
Evidence-Based & Practical
You’ll learn research-backed skills and practice applying them to real-life situations.
Supportive Environment
A space where growth, vulnerability, and even humility are always welcome.
What You’ll Gain
By the end of a group cycle, you can expect to:
Understand how to change patterns that keep showing up
Navigate challenging situations using tools from groups
Reduce anxiety and cultivate emotional balance
Be seen and receive peer support in a non judgmental space
How It Works
Group cycles are 5 weeks and meet weekly for 60 minutes, either in person at my Oakland Rockridge office or online through a secure platform. Each group includes:
Topic on the week’s focus
Interactive activities to strengthen skills
Time for discussion, questions, and personalized feedback

Important Note
These groups are educational and supportive in nature, but they are not therapy and do not establish a therapist–client relationship. The focus is on learning skills and practicing tools in a group setting.
If something arises during group that suggests individual therapy would be helpful, I will recommend that you seek one-on-one support. You may still continue participating in the group if it remains appropriate.
If you are currently in need of therapy or are experiencing a mental health crisis, please reach out to a licensed provider in your area or call 911.
